Police officers have handcuffed Rosario Dawson and hauled her away from the Democracy Spring rally in Washington, D.C.
The actress is being booked for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
Rosario had been among a group of a dozen people who crossed a police line and then sat down in protest. Rosario found out the limits of her fame, as her pretty face wasn’t enough to save her from the back of a squad car.
The Democracy Spring rallies have been going on all week in D.C. to protest all sorts of causes…few that actual people seem to care about.
Needless to say Dawson’s sanctimonious shtick has worn thin with Washington elites, some she used to call friends.
Rosario was with a group protesting the corruption of big money in politics…which is ironic given her penchant for political fundraising.
